Thinking about visiting again in March-April 2010. Last time we were there, a production company was setting up for “Forgetting Sara Marshall”. What a great ad for the restort! We want a room with an ocean view and a lanai. What’s the best wing and side for a spectacular view? What events will be planned? Thanks in advance.

One of the great things about Turtle Bay Resort is that the hotel is surrounded on three sides by water so every room has a view of the ocean. The only real difference is whether you are waking up to the sunrise or relaxing to the sunset from your room. Ocean Front Deluxe is a great category for a nice room. If you don’t mind spending a little more, our beachfront cottages are only a few feet from the ocean. As for next Spring, no big productions are planned at this point.
Speaking of productions, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” was huge! Still we pretty much ran as usual…except for the days they spent filming in the lobby, which did make it pretty exciting! But wow, we sure looked good in the movie!

We are currently in discussions with some possible movies, but nothing is set yet. Right now it looks like March and April will just bring lots of sun, surf and fun.
