And that is why when we married on Nov. 20, 2009 on a beach near Honolulu we came to Turtle Bay to celebrate our wedding night. Even though we were already booked for a week and staying at the Ko Olina Beach Club, we decided we needed to be at Turtle Bay on our wedding night since it was the place where we decided to marry during our March 2009 visit to Turtle Bay. Dinner at the Golf Course restaurant (can't remember its name) and a wonderful evening watching the gale force wind blow out the surf that was rolling in. And even though you hear all the jokes about "bird brains", I believe Ula remembered us from our March visit since she came down from her high perch and had us stoke the feathers on her head.
