3rd of Summer Chef Series
Turtle Bay Resort is pleased to announce that the third and final Summer Chefs Series event of this year will be held at Turtle Bay Resort’s Twenty One Degrees North restaurant on Thursday, August 19th at 6:30 pm. This event brings town and country together as Executive Chef Ron Nasuti of Roy’s Restaurants will join Turtle Bay Resort’s Executive Chef Hector Morales and Twenty One Degrees North’s Chef de Cuisine John Armstrong in preparing a special 6 course wine paired dinner.
The 1st Course will be Hudson Valley Foie Gras & Island Ahi Yukke with Sunny Side Up Quail Egg, Nitsume and Sesame Tuile paired with a Francis Coppola Sofia, Blanc de Blanc, Monterey County, 2009. The 2nd Course will be Hawaiian Ocean Farmed Moi & Melted Leek Risotto with Roasted Hamakua Mushrooms, Kabocha, Smoked Trout Roe and Moi Dashi paired with a Freemark Abbey, Viognier, Rutherford, 2007. The 3rd Course will be Keahole Lobster Coral Gratin Day Boat Scallop with Fresh Uni Butter Sauce, Caviar, Nalo Farms Shiso paired with a Cambria, Chardonnay, Katherine’s Vineyard, Santa Maria Valley, 2007. The 4th Course will be Forty-Eight Hour Sous side of Short Rib with Hawaiian Luau Leaf Veau de Glace, Hanalei Poi, Lomi Lomi & “WOW” Farms Tomatoes paired with a Obsidian Ridge, Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Hill Lake County, 2007. The 5th Course will be Hunan Style Colorado Rack of Lamb with Frosted Cilantro Leaves, Szechuan Peppercorns, Candied Kumquats, Braised Taro paired with a Ridge, Zinfandel, Lytton Springs, California, 2006. The 6th Course will be a Miniature Dessert Sampler with Melting Hot Chocolate Soufflé with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Macadamia Nut Tart & Pineapple Upside Down Cake paired with a Taylor Fladgate, 20 year old, Tawny Porto & 100% Waialua Press Pot Coffee.
The price for all of this is only $95 and does not include tax or gratuity. Parking is always complimentary for restaurant patrons.
