6th Annual Seafood Festival

Make sure to make your plans and reservations now for Turtle Bay Resort’s 6th Annual Seafood Festival to be held on October 1st and 2nd.

Events this year include the ever-so-popular Taste of the North Shore Shrimp Trucks, which will be held Friday night, October 1, 2010. This event gathers in from their various North Shore locations the best shrimp trucks, where for one price of $40 you can eat from them all…giving you the ability to chose for yourself the one you think is best.

Back after taking a year off, by popular demand, is the Sam Choy Poke Festival. This event runs from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 2, 2010, and showcases professional and non-professional chefs competing for prizes by making the best poke. For $25 you can sample from each contestant’s entry and determine for yourself who made the best poke!

The festival’s climax is Chef’s Seafood under the Stars, where top chefs are brought in to prepare their personal favorite seafood dishes. For $55, on Saturday night, October 2, 2o10, you can eat from each of the chef’s stations from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

On both nights a silent auction will be held on behalf of the Friends of the Library Kahuku.

Tickets are on sale now through Turtle Bay Resort’s Concierge at (808) 293-6000.

Could be alot better if employes of resort didn’t enjoy the festival more than the people who paid great deal of money to be here did

I’m a little confused by your comment. I spoke to security and those running the event and no one remembered any employees out of control…and, any employee attending the event should have been able to enjoy it since they too paid a great deal as they had to buy their tickets as well.
