La’ie Temple Open House

The town of La’ie, Hawaii, sits only a few minutes drive from Turtle Bay Resort. Nearly two years ago the La’ie Hawaii Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the “Mormons”) was closed for renovation work. The construction work is near completion and the church has announced that the La’ie Temple will be open to the general public for tours beginning October 22nd to November 13th (except on Sundays).

The temple has set up a website at www.laiehawaiitemple.org with detailed information about dates, times, process, etc.

If you are planning a trip to Turtle Bay Resort during this time period you might want to include this on your list of things to do. If you’ve always wanted to tour the inside of one of the temples, make your reservations to come to Turtle Bay Resort from October 22nd to November 13th and visit the open house while you are here!
