Get a Job – Hawaii Filmmaker’s Showcase

Sunday night, February 19th, join us at the Hawaii Filmmaker’s Showcase for the showing of Get a Job. This features two of the premier entertainers of Hawaii (The Barefoot Natives). Wille K plays a former musician and now successful employment agent whose  career is jeopardized when over the course of one week he repeatedly fails to find work for Merton (Eric Gilliom), a lovable local boy who surfs everyday in a spot where there are no waves (not the brightest bulb in the lot).

This movie has one multiple awards and showcases not only the beauty of Maui, but also the love and laughter of its people as well.

At Surfer, The Bar. Doors open at 6pm. Movie starts at 7pm. $10 for adults, $8 for kama’aina and $5 for children under 16. An a la carte food and beverage menu will be available
